Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Electrician to support the build, integration, and commissioning of custom automation solutions. This hands-on role focuses on control panel assembly, machine wiring, and electrical debug for special machinery serving commercial, industrial, and automation industries. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a custom-machine environment and collaborating closely with design engineers to bring complex systems to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control Panel Build & Electrical Assembly
- Build, wire, and label electrical control panels per electrical schematics and layouts.
- Install PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, safety components, power distribution, and control devices.
- Verify panel builds meet applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company specifications.
- Machine Wiring & Integration
- Perform complete machine wiring for custom automation equipment including sensors, motors, actuators, valves, and safety circuits.
- Route, secure, and terminate wiring with a focus on reliability, cleanliness, and serviceability.
- Collaborate with mechanical and automation teams during machine assembly and integration.
- Debug, Startup & Commissioning Support
- Support electrical checkout, I/O verification, and system debug alongside automation engineers.
- Troubleshoot electrical, controls, and communication issues during machine startup.
- Assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), customer run-offs, and on-site commissioning when required.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with engineering, project management, and shop personnel to meet project schedules.
- Provide input on electrical design improvements and standardization efforts.
- Help maintain and improve electrical build and wiring best practices.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an Automation Electrician or Industrial Electrician in custom automation or special machinery environments.
- Strong experience with control panel building and machine wiring for automated equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Hands-on experience with PLC-based control systems, safety circuits, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networks.
- Working knowledge of NFPA 79, NEC, UL 508A, and industrial electrical standards (certification a plus).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with attention to detail and quality.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for installation and startup support.
- Valid driver’s license is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Individual will utilize equipment or machines such as lathes & mills for shaping, drilling, milling, turning and grinding. During the day- to-day machining task, machinist will read and use schematics, blueprints, software and manuals.

Problem solving skills are critical for machine testing and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and build machinery according to blueprints and technical drawings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic system issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D CAD models.
- Use power tools and hand tools to perform assembly tasks.

As the individual gets familiar with our engineering of automation solutions, the individual would work remotely, assisting with installations and troubleshooting at our customers locations in Indiana. (Mooresville and Winchester) Individual must be able to perform design, engineering, and field start up responsibilities for System Integration in the electrical machine building industry. In addition, proven trouble shooting skills is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and debug PLC, HMI, and motion control systems for custom automated equipment
- Develop electrical control architectures, including I/O layouts, network configurations, and safety systems
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering, electrical assembly, and manufacturing teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Support machine startup, debugging, and commissioning both in-house and at customer sites
- Interface with customers to understand requirements, provide technical support, and ensure successful system integration
- Create and maintain clear documentation, including control narratives, software standards, and electrical schematics

Required Qualifications

- Experience with HMI and VFDs development and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, etc.)
- Solid understanding of electrical control systems, sensors, actuators, and safety circuits
- Generate system map layouts, generating a sequence of operations, reviewing cycle time studied and generation of design packages, design logic, and the design of Smart Displays.
- Material responsibilities include, advance material order, specifying material and panel material
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems independently and under time constraints
- Willingness to travel for customer site visits and machine commissioning as needed

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and production machinery
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial robots and automated systems such as Fanuc, Motoman, and Nachi
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate milling machines and other precision equipment
- Complete work orders accurately and document all repairs
- Assist with equipment assembly, installations, upgrades, and process improvements
- Travel short distances for service calls and occasionally stay overnight for off‑site repairs
- Respond to emergency maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in maintenance, mechanical repair, or industrial equipment service (4-10 years)
- Hands‑on experience with robotic systems (FANUC, ABB, YASKAWA, etc.) is a strong advantage
